[ the vibes are rather peaceful in the observation deck today, where yuri will be able to hear weird noises and twangs coming from one of the couches. it's kazuki, trying to tune his guitar with a handful of stuff set on a table.

he's mindful enough to feel a little anxious when he sees yuri, though. ]

Is it too noisy? My roommate's trying to sleep, so...

[ Anxiety is something Yuri is very familiar with, so it's strange when she feels it when she doesn't feel anxious at all... until she realizes that it must be coming from Kazuki. She shakes her head no. ]

Not at all. Is that a guitar...?

Yeah, it was in the locker with my other stuff. Weird what they let us all keep, isn't it? But I'm not mad about it.

[ just a little nervous about messing up in front of other people nbd ]

[ Yuri is over at the strip mall. She doesn't know how to shop for clothes, so she's considering getting a suit, but why... there's no meaning to wearing one here, probably? But when her clothes are just this all the time (she has two sets of the exact same thing), she's severely lacking in anything else.

So she's here, staring at all these options. help. ]

[ amused, as he walks up to her. ]

What's up? Nothing standing out?

Ah, Kazuki... I'm not sure what I should get. I know that it's free, but I don't want to clog my small closet with clothes that I'll never wear.

[ She feels like it's a waste... ]

once they get to the medbay he... actually just looks kind of overwhelmed? he doesn't know a thing about first aid. how is he supposed to do it without his hands aaaaaaa ]

[ Yuri luckily does know some things about first aid. She puts Kazuki on top of one of the more comfortable cots for now while the recovery pod starts to boot up. After that, she rushes to get the tube of antiseptic tape to try and tape over Kazuki's cuts that she can find. She hopes this will help the recovery speed just a bit. ]

I'll get you into the recovery pod in just a bit, Kazuki. Bear with me.

[ never in his life did he imagine he would be carried so delicately to a medbay.

he's a good patient, at least! he nods and waits on the cot, his eyes wandering over to a nondescript spot near the corner of the room like he's watching something. ]

[ Yuri is at the music store today, and Kazuki! The person she wanted to see. She smiles as she walks over to him. ]

Hello, Kazuki. How are you feeling today?

[ yuri! he looks up from where he's fiddling with a guitar's strings with his multitool to offer her a smile, a bunch of music notes twirling around him. ]

Hey, Yuri-san. I'm great. Have you seen all the equipment this place has? I don't even need to ask the crew for an amp now.

[ kazuki is in his element! ]

[ The little music notes are cute. Yuri watches those for a while before looking back at Kazuki. ]

It really has a lot... were you planning on playing your guitar in your room with the amp?

[ he'll go an check up on her after giving her some time in the pod. ]

[ By now, she used enough of the pod to seal her wound at the very least and she doesn't want to be in the pod for 12 hours straight, so... break time. (yay)

She smiles when Kazuki comes over to check on her. ]

I'm feeling better. I shouldn't move too much, but after some time, I'll go back inside the pod. I'm sorry for worrying you.

[ Yuri is at Mega Park: North this time, but instead of pondering which ice cream to get, she looks confused next to the ice cream truck. ]

"Extra Virgin Olive Oil" flavored ice cream...? Is this real?

Ohhh, yeah, I've heard of that. Never tried it before, though. You could probably just get a sample instead of the full thing if you're not sure...?

[ So she asks for a sample of the ice cream and eats it...

--Ah, it melts so quickly. The texture is good, but I'm not sure about the taste.

[ he's mostly been giving the limbuses space to process things this weekend, besides a text to check in. but when he sees yuri around later, he does pause to approach her slowly. ]

Yuri-san... How are you feeling? [ not okay, obviously. everyone saw how she reacted. ] Is there anything I can do?

[ Hi, Kazuki. Yuri seems to be spacing out a little with her eye still a little red from crying. At least she's no longer hyperventilating. (yay) ]

Kazuki...

[ She smiles a little. ]

I'm... I'm not feeling great. Do you want to go for a walk, with me? For a little bit.

I think that's to be expected, after what just happened.

[ even he's pretty shaken up, though obviously not to the same degree. still, he nods. ]

[ Yuri can be seen in the music store some time after the eclipse. She's in the back with an electronic keyboard on her lap, playing Hello by Adele. It's nothing complicated other than her playing chords every now and then. Very beginner-like. ]

[ the way that he sees this and immediately makes a beeline for her, smiling bright as the sun. ]

[ Yuri is surprised to see Kazuki, since she didn't expect him here, but seeing him smile like that makes her return the smile. ]

Yes. I've been trying to practice here and there... it's quite fun.
