Mm, depends. Sometimes you see street performances. Sometimes we just find a new place to grab something to eat or drink, or watch a new show. Shinjuku's always got something going on, if you know where to look.

It is. And I wouldn't say it's some kind of utopia - Shinjuku has issues, just like anywhere else. But I haven't had any, myself, even when I go out really late.

... Yes. There are no places without flaws. I've accepted that. If someone tried to convince me that it's a utopia, I might be obligated to deny them. But I'm glad that nothing happened to you. You should enjoy yourself when you can, especially when you want to let out some pent up energy.

...I think you're right - that it is exhausting. So is thinking that you could die at any moment. But it's probably like anything else, so you'd get used to it, after a while.
