I don't know everyone who's in a relationship in this place, so I don't think I can answer that. But I wouldn't say it's impossible to start a healthy relationship here, just... harder, maybe? Because of everything.

Books have a lot of unhealthy relationships because they aren't real, so they don't have to be, you know? People can have all that drama or danger in the stories they read without having to put themselves in that position in real life. It's like a safe way to explore something different that you probably wouldn't want to experience firsthand, because it might be exciting, but it's actually terrible.

And Romeo and Juliet is, like, the worst example of love, no matter how many people talk about it that way. It's a tragedy, not a romance. [ ... ] I don't even want to think about this cat story, either. That's just weird.
