[ he's already changed, thankfully. his neck is also bandaged? one arm is probably in a sling because i forgot about that before sending him to a pod but it's fine. ]

The lounge isn't far.

[ she'll lead him that way, occasionally glancing at him to make sure he's actually walking okay ]

[ he's moving slower than usual, but otherwise seems to walk okay! once they make it there kazuki just sinks into one of the seats, holding his head as well as he can with a bandaged hand. ]

Adrastea-san took us on a mission to some other planet. Something to help the ship keep moving. We were supposed to get something called a heartseed.

And it wrecked your shit that badly?

I didn't think I'd make it out alive, so I'll take it.

[ his eyes focus on spot a little above a nearby seat, as if someone was sitting there, before he continues. ]

The planet was overrun with plants, but the place they sent us to was supposed to be safe for the guests. The organizers probably wouldn't have risked being so close if they knew it was that bad.

[ she kind of... subtly, looks over where he is, but there's... nothing. uhh. well, alright. ]

They called it the Hanging Gardens, where the Blossoming Ceremony was held. It's a big party inside a huge atrium so the guests could see everything.

[ this is a lot of talking so he's going to take a moment to just. cough. bleugh. ]

[ he'll settle in with a pillow! by the time mizuki comes back, it looks like he was poking around the iris, but his eyes are back on that same spot and he's... saying something? i'm sure that's fine. ]

[ Eventually, she returns! With two cups, though, uh.

Bro, he's pulling a her. What gives.

After a moment, she interrupts by offering him a cup. ]

Here you go—one order of green tea, just as ordered! I put some honey in it for you.

[ he snaps out of it easily enough to accept the cup, careful of the bandages on his hand. ]

Thanks, Date. [ takes a sip. ] At least it should be healed soon. Those pods actually work pretty well.
