At this point, I think we're all going to push whatever boundaries we can. There's too much at stake not to.

And some of them can heal now, so there's no better time to do that.

I know, but it's an important one with how reckless everyone here likes to be. It sounds like a lot of them have powers that are going to be great to have on our side. Aiba-san might be able to hack into something useful there, too.

Oh, yeah—sorry, a lot was happening...

It wasn't anything new, really, but more like... Confirmation that the ship's systems have already been collecting data on all the places we're from and checking to see if they're, like, viable for consumption. Aiba said it felt a lot like the ship just has this single-minded drive to eat everything, that it's just—really damn hungry.

Great... Too bad giving it a giant burger wouldn't do the trick.

If only. Why entire planets, anyway...

Whole populations count as a lot of food, I guess...? With a ship this big, whatever this thing is that's controlling it has to be huge, too. It's got to take a lot of energy.

Same. The longer this goes on, the more it feels like some sci-fi horror movie come to life. At least Adonis made sense, even if they're a bunch of psychos.

Yeah, it's insane to think that what I'd been dealing with before feels so tame compared to this crap.

Well, yeah, now. But before all this, a terrorist group trying to remake the whole world was pretty fucking bad.

Well, with any luck, we can at least wash our hands of this problem.

There's almost fifty of us here, and most of them have some kind of powers that we don't. That's got to give us some kind of a leg up, considering how mad it seems to get over us seeing through its illusions. We'll come up with something.

Yeah, the more we probe, the more pissed it gets... Which is fine. I'll start breaking the walls if it means getting under its skin.

Maybe save that for when we have a safe way home. I don't think any of us want to get rid of us just to be stranded somewhere.

Of course it's not. I'm just saying, I don't want to get stuck out in space because the ship's too wrecked to anywhere even if that thing is dead.

I'm gonna guess at this point the ship is already pretty wrecked. If we can use that thing after everything it's been through already, I'll be impressed.

...Maybe. But we still have to think of some way to get back. We don't have anything right now, so wrecking the ship even more can't help us that much either, either.

I'm... really hoping the company is still out there being normal as usual. They owe us so much, so there's no way they could say no to getting us back home.
